Can a ton bag hold dangerous goods?

- Dec 21, 2023 -

Container bags belong to flexible medium bulk containers. According to GB19434-2009 "Inspection Code for Medium Bulk Containers of Dangerous Goods", the following goods are not allowed to be shipped using container baggers.

1) Items with explosion risk, such as fireworks and firecrackers;

2) Flammable liquids, such as gasoline and kerosene;

3) Dangerous goods with packing grade Ⅰ, such as rocket warheads, black powder, etc.;

4) Solid dangerous goods with melting point equal to or less than 45 degrees;

5) The United Nations Recommendation on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (15th Revised edition) stipulates that dangerous goods cannot be used in bags;

6) At 50 degrees, the steam pressure exceeds 10kPa solid dangerous goods.

Therefore, in addition to the above goods, all other goods can be shipped using container bags. Having said all that, you still don't know if your goods can be shipped in container bags.

Then you can go to GB 12268-2012 "Dangerous Goods List".
